From the July 12 LabCorp Service Announcement.
"IL28B genotype was the stongest pretreatment predictor of sustained viral response, showing a higher odds ratio (OR = 5.2) than any of the other independently associated predictors of treatment response such as baseline viral RNA level, fibrosis stage, ethnicity, or fasting glucose levels."
Yes I read all that from the announcement.I was wondering if anybody has taken it yet?
Ja, I figured you had. Just thought you might have missed that part because of your question about "how stong an indicator" the test is.
I doubt you'll find a lot of people have taken this yet. We'll just have to take LabCorp's word on it for now.
I plan on asking my new doc about it in Oct.
