Incivek rash

Looks like the worst is over; but holding my breath.

today is end of week 8, incivek.

week 7 started itching really bad, no rash yet; started atarz last friday; by sunday, the rash started and provceed to get worse; st dr. appt wednesday, prescrribed fluocinonide.  wednesday and thursday were miserable, but seems like it is running it course and creating pattern I can deal with.  Have stayed home this week from work.

Last night about 9, went through all the tx second guessing and what would happen if it gets worse.  I can always count on the forum to provide support, perspective, advice, and most importantly, success stories.

I manage an office of 60 people and have shared with the management team; not specifics.  Corporate office is not actively involved.  I have about 180 hours paid time off.  I will use as much as needed to get through the next 4 weeks.

Boo rash. Yay time off! I didn't really seriously want time off til after week 25. If I were you I'd save it til the end n cumulative effects hit. Jus my humble opinion.. I have spring break coming. BIG smile... Good luck, Karen :) (who still has the rash at week 35)

I had/have a rash too starting in about week 10. The fluocinonide and Hydroxyzine have helped considerable but as soon as I get one are cleared, the rash just moves next door. Mine is probably a Riba rash the derm doc said. I am at week 24. It is better, but not gone, and the discolored blotches hang around for a while.

It is great you can take some time off to deal with these problems.

Hope your's gets better soon.
