Mare's Milk

Hello All.

Just got back to a computer. I have been in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan for the past week.

Sent there by my physician, Head of Gastroenterology, for a two week stay. The night lights alone were worth it. I never knew that the sky could have so many stary sights, being from New York it's really unique.

Nevertheless, the regimen is really quite straight forward. .5liter of Mare's Milk every 2 hours (10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm,and 6pm) Apparently the milk has to be 'fresh'. Warm from the teats - believe me is fresh.

I won't know the results for a while.. still have another week, then wait for the Liver functions to be done.

Here's the catch.. not all mare's milk was created the same. Remember, this is a high altitude area. Only certain grasses, herbs, etc grow in the area. The horses are 'pastured' in the mountains and brought in for milking. Albumen is the "KEY" ingredient (according to my physician).. so whatever the science, all I know is that the natives swear by it.. for all that ails the system.  MORE LATER.. (back to the hills tonight)

Try for a brown horse, mare's milk in chocolate gets the best reviews.  Wouldn't it be ironic if mare's milk did work?  For me, this whole things started with horse.

yes, mares milk will help you but the bad thing is you have to suck it right from the teat. be careful as this could be very challenging and dangerous. LOL, seriously don't you think if it was this simple to get rid of HCV we all would be doing it.  the only cure for HCV "at this time" is harsh drugs called interferon & ribavirin. the only thing mares milk will do for you is make you run faster and kick up your heels :-)

I was led to this website in a weird round about way after being told of mares milk.  I have hep c and wondered if it (mares milk) helped.
Can you comment?  Are you still out there?

I accidently stumbled on this site...ironically, my friend has hep c, and asked me why a mare who isn't pregnant would produce milk. ( one of my horses is producing milk, but she's 22 years old).  Can she drink it, and is there a slight possibility it may help with her liver?

When you get back stateside take a little side trip and come and visit our western Montana mountains. There is a reason we call it "Big Sky Country." Oh, there are lotsa horses here also. You might even decide it'd be a nice place to live!  My best to ya, Joni

wow, ohhhh i am SO THERE...count me in definately.....hey we could do exchanges too.
....anyone wanting to go to costa rica, let me know, i can also hook up great deals and show you the real side of tico life, in a rural village i always stay. ride from bar to bar opps..PLACE TO PLACE on horseback along the beach etc. then theres always the touristy stuff too i guess, like the volcanos and monkeys...but believe me , the place to place tour is by far the funnest....having little snacks along the way ,fresh fruit off trees jumping off and going for a swim, riding up through rivers,up mountains, down mountians,to waterfalls....beautiful

but i seriously would go on your tour kat...that is someplace i haven't travelled, it would be amazing.

enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, and get lots of photos will yah!!

cheers

OH BOY..........hahaha..haha.

1. Milk s: good tasting, warm, frothy, not as 'rich' as cow's milk, nor is it 'skim' either.

2. was gonna wait till spring, Dr. said "it's best" in spring (new grass, fresh air, etc)

3. like cows, once the foal is there you just continue milking, they don't know the difference. The milk supply will be there.

4. As for the skies.. I'm telling you.. I stayed at a christian youth camp in Hamilton, NY.. that is pretty 'rural', but it just can't compare.. NOTHING I HAVE SEEN BEFORE CAN.

5.  Weather in the mountains:  about 78 on a daily basis (mid July) no humididy. A blanket at night is ok but not necessary. Skies are clear, except for the late afternoon, snowcapped mountains right behind the village bring in clouds and maybe a shower.. other than that.. almost paradise.

6. Anyone want to come in spring, let me know. The flight outta NY (JFK) can cost around 700-1100 round trip. I flew here using Aeroflot Russian Airlines. Never again. (For a small fee) I can: get accommodations in the mountains, provide a translator, buy your food, day trips (evening trips more like it)If there are enough takers, we could probably save a ton with a group rate.

   a.  You can also take advantage of the great dental plans. Office visit: $2.00, Crown's, fillings, partials, etc.. Bring $100 and go back with plenty of change. Trust me.

   b. If nothing else, you can experience Central Asia, with the help of an 'experienced Hepper'.

So more later.. gotta get back..

ps.. nursing mom's milk will not do.. sorry!

wow, sounds like you are surrounded by beauty, and just what the doctor ordered.  i wasn't aware that mares would produce milk unless they were in foal..but i guess they must, if we use mares milk for other produces as well, i just had never thought about that.....what does it taste like, must be thick as well as sticky.  is it a challenge to drink that much, does it upset your stomach, being so rich? and 5 liters every few hours.....wow, thats a lotta milk baby......

well good luck with it, and enjoy your time there, sounds like you are loving the tranquility and surroundings. stay well.

I thought you were supposed to wait for spring? are the seasons different over there?  SO you finally did it!!lol
Is it for hep c or to lower enzymes?
I saw beautiful starry nights upstate NY in the mountains! Not the same sky we see in LI, for sure.
Sounds like a peaceful stay.
