Injection questions

Has anyone ever had a problem while trying to inject the needle ,in the thigh it didnt wanting to glide in like it usually does?  My commit to care nurse said you should't only give yourself a shot in the thighs only. Just wondering!

Top of the leg is better than the side of leg to avoid the sciatic nerve. Nurse used my arm for first shot, but it was one of those "don't try this at home kids" type things.

I don't know if things have changed, but when I did tx in 2000/2001 I was specifically told NOT to use the back of arms or the butt.  I switched between lhe lower belly and the thighs, and tried to alternate spots every week. The thighs were tougher because of muscle, but as I lost weight during treatment I also lost my belly fat and had a hard time "pinching an inch."  I also had to do neupogen and felt like a pin cushion.
