I seem to recall the people who responded on your first post told you the same thing as they told you on this post.  There are no answers that anyone can give you until you even know if you have it.

You are revolving these thoughts around your sexual conquests.  I have always felt that those who tell how often or how many conquests are the ones who ain't gettin nothing.

Get your test and if for some reason it is positive you will have some legit questions.

At this point you do not know if you have hepc.  As mentioned, highly unlikely you contracted hepc sexually.  Giving you advise about side effects from treatment would be a waste of your time and ours until you know for sure.  Once you have the results, and IF you test positive which in all likelihood you will not, then perhaps people can chime in and guide you forward.  Right now, your putting the cart before the horse.

Read about transmission, treatment and side effects if you really feel you must know.
Research the archives of this forum or go to the website I will list.
Someone else may feel it's necessary to comment but I feel advise is not what you need at this point.  A positive HCV RNA PCR is the only way you will know for sure.

Save yourself some anxiety and stop obsessing until you know.

BTW, I'm currently treating and I still have a life.

Hep C is not a STD. However this should be a rude awakening for you!
There re other things out there, VERY BAD THINGS!

Use caution , protect yourself and everyone you are with.
It will come back and bite you in the arse! That I can assure you!

It is highly un-likely you contracted hep c from having casual sex.  I had a blood transfusion in 68 and a tat in 67 and was married and believe it or not faithful  all my married life.  I had to have surgery in about 99 and tested positive for hep c .  My doctors told me I could have gotten the virus from the tattoo or more likely the blood transfusion all those years ago.  I have 3 adult children-none tested positive and my wife also tested negative after nearly 40 years of intimacy-so breathe deep and after you get the results give a sigh of relief and use protection to the max from now on. franke566
