Lost

So I called the number for Gilead/sovaldi, they took my information and told me they will contact my doctor and nurse. Not sure what happens, I explained how I could not pay for these drugs and that im on government assistance, so im confused on what she meant about programs. Does anyone know?

I'M from Quebec and just finish Sovaldi and Riba 24 weeks.  I have insurance with my work that covered Sovaldi and the Momentum Program paid the first 750$ and that was it.  Riba was not cover by my insurance ?? and I had to pay 2$ a pill, 5 pills a day, 280 $ a month.  1680 $ for the 24 weeks TX.

I'm not sure how it works in Ontario, you seem to have different type of Government Help:  Ontario Drug Benefit Program and Trillium Drug program and more ?  And I'm not sure if they are up to date with the new treatment.

Are you Genotype 1? Did you treat before?

Have you tried Momentum Canada:  For more information regarding Sovaldi or the Momentum Program in Canada, please call the Gilead Sciences Canada medical information line at 1-866-207-4267. I think you did but just in case...

They help me and my doctor with all the paper works, We started with phone calls in January and was finally accepted in March with one refusal.  So be ready for the Roller Coaster ride!

Here's the problem. Your from Canada and Gileads support path is for U S residents only. Maybe they have some kind of program or programs in Canada. Hopefully one of our members from there will come along and help you... Good luck.
