Welcome to your new job! I was kind of afraid this town would just run itself as it has been for some time. We really have some great law abiding citizens here to support you, count me in. I'm afaid that you will have to take a pay cut for not taking on all the responsibilities of the job, but your honesty about your lack of knowledge is refreshing. I'm sure you will see that in this community we have many people who will share that part of the job description. We have many intelligent caring people here. I have just recently joined this community and am not looking to move any time soon, I'll take the bad with the good like everything else in life. Hope you do the same.

What tha heck happened here? What ever it was , I , 52tele , had nothing to do with it. Now , I'm going back to bed , I'm not ready for this today.
Great rules, Back to the basics.
Apparently I also missed what happened but I think that everyone here has such wonderful information Jim especially but so many others also. I just wish everyone could understand the little piece of info my mom told me on advice. "No matter what advice someone might give you, you don't have to take it at all, just listen (or read) and then take from it what is right for you and disregard the rest. what might be right for you might not be right for someone else." We as a group need to understand that and no matter the advice, it is always given here with the attempt to help someone else and it might not be right for that person but someone else reading might be able to use it in their lives and be a real help.
Does Paris really have to keep her hands to herself?
I'm so glad you had a great time on vacation but I did miss your presence. Keep up the good job and thanks for the smile.
Great rules, but tell you the truth I think the majority of the people knew of them to be the "unspoken rules", as far as the ones that relate to kindness and respect.
Painter/lady...your mother was right on target. One never knows how someone's words can help, even if it helps just one person, so even if for that reason alone, we should never view someones comment as insignificant, meaningless or unworthy to be spoken.Just think of the damage it can cause to the one being judged, if they possibly have a life where they are always put down for everything they say. I don't believe this is the case, but that can happen. Someone like that usually rebels and then concedes to being beaten down and into thinking maybe the person was valid with their comment. Abuse is abuse, comes in subtle and blatant forms.
As far as running the "sheriff" out of town, I was encouraged to read this is a temporary thing. And anyhow, a good school principal, shouln't be allowed to be run out. The students and parents should object and suspend the students who broke the rules, or at least personally speak to the students as to how to conduct themselves.
I'm sure everything will work out, but one thing I noticed that was funny, was that some people who are always posting, are no where to be found and others came out of the woodwork and someone even got up off the couch to tell me what a horror I was. What amazes me is when I think of what it would be like to work with some of these people who chose to stay silent when they saw evil things being said. If they are afraid to say something to people that can't even see them, what would they be like in the real world. Crazy stuff.
I was not posting much before because I am a "newbie" to hep c, but I am an "oldie" to injustice, that's why you heard me loud and clear.
Thanks to everyone who stood up by expressing their agreement with how I felt, appreciate your honesty.
When Jim comes back, I'll try to restrain myself from throwing confetti as to not cause a problem.
I'll be going away for a few weeks. When I come back,I hope everything is okay. From here on out, I choose to not respond to rude comments made to me. Not worth my time. I hope all you guys get good reports from your doctors in upcomming weeks.
Hope the people that may have liked me aren't offended in any way by what I have said.
See ya soon
