Pain in right side after TX?

I have been experiencing pain in my right side. I went to the Doc he did some blood tests and is looking into it but because of holiday i wont know anything till monday. I was just wondering if anyone on here had and post TX symptoms similar to mine. The pain seems to worsen when i have to go to the bathroom #1 & #2. I am also bloated my top half seems like. Food seems to effect the pain also. The doc did say when i was there the spot i was pointing to is gall bladder and liver area. It has been 8 months since TX. Might have nothing to dod with it all ?

At this point you have to seriously consider something else besides the liver.  In that right upper quadrant is your gallbladder, end of your stomach, large bowel and small bowel.  The liver would not hurt with meals or have anything to do with #1 or #2.

Make sure they keep looking.

I wish i could just not hurt and be happy after all i have been through:( Just to let you know 6 month test i am negative for c. Just thought i had read somewhere that other parts of the body can be affected by tx.

Calbutterfly,     I am very sorry to hear about your stomach pain. Don't ya hate when you are waiting for info, and it's a holiday weekend.(it's kinda like your kids always getting sick or hurt, only on the weekends)  If you can though, try to focus on the fact that this is one of those weekends when you can enjoy the extra time to do the things you most like, or to show your family how much you love them. Congratulations on still testing negative for HepC!!!!!!!!!:)  :)
I would like to thank you, though, because your question brings up a concern, that I'm sure many of us who come to this site, have. What is life going to be like after this treatment?
Please let us know, how you are doing,  God Bless,  berlynn

Everyone,    If there is anyone out there, who would like to share your post tx experiences, please do. I know that the more I find out about Hep C, the more questions I have, and the more concerned I become, I really feel that I should have been much more knowledgeable about this tx and the risk factors that may never go away.  Worse than that, I don't thinks that many of us are exactly positive that our dr knows everything that they should at this point, obviously.

I have a question, sorry if it's dumb, but doesn't the gallbladder have something to do with our immune systems? Isn't our immune systems working overtime... due to the toxins we are pouring into our body for Tx.... and to treat the sx of the Tx..
Sorry if this is negative but, I have been debating with myself, many things that I have learned since I found this site. As I said, the more you know, the more you find out you don't know.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, I do believe..... no matter where we are in this dragon battle, we all have many things to be thankful for.....especially each other............ berlynn

The gallbladder is just a storage tank for bile that is produced in the liver...and is necessary for digestion.  That's why people can live without it, the liver also drains bile into the intestines as needed, but when you eat a fatty meal you need more bile, hence the gallbladder spits some extra out then. I think that pretty much sums it up.  OHC
