APPROVED

I wanted to start a new thread with this so everyone that was good enough to help me would defiantly see it.

I just got a call from my Docs and they faxed the papers back in this morning and the Ins Comp APPROVED me!!!!
So I guess in 2 weeks I begin my treatment because Im taking your alls advice and waiting the 2 weeks after I get my meds to start. It may sound weird but Im feeling a bit triumpent! Its like the first battle is won now the hardest is yet to come but my spirits are high and Im energized (for now) and ready to fight this beast that exsist inside my body.

Thank you all so much. I am so grateful for this forum and I am sure that in the following months i will be even more grateful than I am already am.

Thank you all so much.

Oh and portann.. my kids are welled prepared. They have visted the doc with me and watched the be in charge videos and i told them.. even if I think Im right when im not  just agree and walk away.
We all have our ups and downs but we are getting a  lot closer lately.. In a house of 5 its difficult to all get along at once and we never manage it unless were doing something as a family. But those times are sweet and my tx is going to be the one thing were doing as a family. I have plenty of xanax on hand for my calmness and my sleeping and im sure they will be insisting on it. lol

Bill... thank you so much. I would have never have thought of that. You may have just saved me from round 2 of tx. My family and I are forever grateful...

Smart move to delay the start of tx. I wish I had had that wonderful advice before I started! It will save you if your doctor's office messes up or medication doesn't arrive on time. I know...I've been there!

In a way, there was a silver lining to this. Instead of throwing yourself into tx as soon as you receive the meds, you changed strategy and are delaying your start date to build up a two week supply, in case of emergencies.

A measure as simple as this will avoid hassles in spades.

Big kudos to Bill for his smart advice and level head.

You might want to prepare your three kids for their mom turning slightly b-itchy during treatment. Or get yourself a solid "Keep Out" sign to hang on your bedroom door for 'special'  times.

As a young female, genotype 3, stage zero, your chances for success are wonderful.

Congratulations.

Congratualtions and yes, wait at least 2 weeks. The buffer will be the best sleep aide you can have. But remember, "on the books" you will run out of the drugs before you actually do, but always keep the pharmacy honest by making sure the meds arrive as per the book schedule. If you don't, even a 2 week buffer can disappear really fast, because at times, the drugs simply will not arrive unless you get on the phone.  And the reason again will be that your docs office forgot to fill out some paperwork, which btw has to be updated around week 12 with many insurance companies. Just a heads up because the meds may just stop coming one day.
