End stage liver disease

My husband has drank alcohol since he was 13. He has been to rehab 3 times.  He has been diagnosed with end stage liver disease, has nodules on his liver, Hep C, a swollen spleen, gall stones, has diabetes, esophageal varices at the top of his stomach and high blood pressure.  How long does someone usually live with end stage liver disease and all these medical issues.  Do I start making plans for his end of life?

I'm sorry but this type of question should be asked of the doctor - though if he has not stopped drinking and is in end stage liver disease yes I would imagine you should start planning for the future and worrying about yourself.

Does he have hepc as well this is a hepc forum and mostly what we give advice on here has to do with issues related to that.

I'm sorry for your unfortunate situation.
