Possible Career Path?

i am currently being treated for hep c type 1b and am undetectable after week 22 test.  i am thinking about going back to school to become an x-ray technician?  would this be a wise decision considering my condition whether i end up SVR or not?

Well --- uhm.... Unless you're planning on doing some sort of VAMPIRE X-rays --- where you have to share blood to give X-rays... Then you having HepC is absolutely NON-RELEVANT.

You have a choice to disclose whether you have HCV or not.

It is up to you --- YOU --- whether YOU pass your disease on.

Your career choice is merely challenged ONLY by what challenges YOU give yourself.

If you SVR you are incapable of infecting anyone-even  Dracula wouldn't be interested in you.
It is likely that the application form will ask if you have had certain diseases of which Hep  C is certain to be one, in which case you should have a doctors letter prepared to go with the form confirming that you are 100% non-contagious.

were you und at 12 or at least a 2 log drop?

my viral load was at 171,000 before i started tx.  und by week 4.  so yeah, it was a 2 log drop...i think!
