Post Treatment After-Effects

I am 36 days post triple tx ( Incivik - Peg - Riba  ) and just got back my one month follow-up CBC - all counts are back to normal levels. I am UND at 4, 12, and 24. Still have a nasty rash on legs and injection site and some dry cough which started on Riba. Hair is getting a little softer - not like brillo. I am thinking life gets back to normal sometime - I sure hope so. Residual effects are a bit disconcerting. When do these drugs really clear?

Good to hear your CBC values have returned so quickly, however remember you have just finished a very powerful assortment of drugs taken for a significant length of time.
It may take quite a bit longer than 5 weeks to clear the residual effects.
Possibly a visit to a dermatologist for the rash if not healing would be  an idea.

Hopefully your doctor has checked some other levels such as thyroid (TSH) and vitamin B and D  as all of these can  add adverse symptoms to the mix if not within normal values.

Always a good idea to stay well hydrated, eat healthy and  some exercise.

I know these seem like the obvious, however may help some in feeling better and speeding up recovery.

Good luck..

Never did triple, but with standard treatment it was gradual. Suddenly, you realize your feel like yourself again.

Another angel has got his wings. I'm doing the dance...

Best Wishes,
