No offense, but how old are you? I get them too, call them hot flashes.
Interferon can sometimes cause or aggravate issues with the thyroid gland; I think hot flashes can be associated with hyperthyroidism. Ask your doctor if you received a baseline thyroid panel, and if another one is indicated now.
Good luck-

I completed my trial @ week 12 and was UDT from weeks 1-12, shortly after stopping Tx I began having night sweats and somehow knew in my heart of hearts what had happened- My next blood draw revealed I had in fact relapsed so it is a possibility....
I also experienced night sweats not long after ending tx. Like you, I was UND at the time. I was 47 years old and as aggravating as it sounded to me, everyone attributed it to "peri-menapause."
Chart when it happens. I'm still in "peri-menapause" almost 2 years later and I still hate that term. Every now and then I'll experience night sweats...usually about mid point---even with the A/C on 68. But I'm still SVR.
I don't think you relapsed. Testing Neg at 2 weeks post is a very good sign of SVR.
Like Bill said look at others causes, thyroid, etc
Have you taken your 12 week PCR yet ? Add a THS to it ......?
We are about the same post TX, any other issues ? I have a headache every morning, achy, tired.
I too am experiencing night sweats along with insomnia. Bill spoke to thyroid disorders and I did inherit a thyroid problem from treatment. To ease your mind, I have not relapsed as of 12 weeks post treatment.
@James I wake every morning with a headache and achy as well. I thought it was just me or the thyroid medication. I am still experiencing fatigue and shortness of breath which are a sx of the thyroid medication too! However, my HGB has not recovered to pretreatment numbers so who knows.
Hi Everyone

Gee 704 so glad you have not relapsed.
Bill1954 I have an appointment with my family doctor on May 17 and will ask for a thyroid test.
My gastro tells me my next blood work to test for hep will be at 6 months I did not get tested at 12 weeks just 2 weeks post.
