Post Tx SFX

Jeeez Louise you guys I feel like I just started Tx again!   Sorry but this kinda sux.  What do I do about this irritability?!
I'm not one to pop pills as a bandaid as my addictions don't allow me to go there, but I'm close to it......
I'm a little annoyed at the doctor because I specifically asked him if I would be having any residual effects after Tx he said "no".
Not that I wish anyone have HCV but I truly think that they need to walk in the shoes of everyone that has gone thru Tx and Post Tx.........just venting...I'm usually not this crabby so I appologize in advance.  ~[:-/~
Will work thru it as I have in the past....
Peace
Deb

Oh my GOSH!!! You my friend are doing too much.  You have to take it a little easy, drink lots of water.  Dehydration is not your friend.
It takes time to recover from the tx and the riba takes up to 6 months to completely leave the body.
I would try very hard to be nice to yourself.  Don't look down and you won't have to worry about the floors.
Yes, take care of your Mom.  I am sorry she has bronchitis.  A vaporizer and Vicks vaporub helped me when I had bronchitis as well as  mucinex .
Take care of yourself, please :)

Pat, hi my friend.
Well guilty as charged.
No I'm not taking it easy, steam cleaning floors, caring for a sick mom, working on website.
I'm in a state of panick I think because I've been having more energy so now I'm playing "catch-up" cuz I'm afraid it won't last....I'm a dope :) can you tell I have a little panic disorder, oooooooh yaaaaaa. Drinking lots of water plus found this drink that when you twist the top fresh powdered vitamins fall into water, shake and drink. Smells like vits tastes ok when really cold. Made the mistake of drinking before bed and I couldn't sleep, vity buzzzzz.
On the contrary I value what you say, you know more about this than me so I should start really listening better...oooops did I just say that. Ha!
Ok gonna cook dinner cuz mom needs to eat she's got Bronchitis yuk
(((Hugs)))

No advice on the crabbiness, EXCEPT that we all have some form of withdrawal from the powerful meds we were taking.  When you feel yourself getting that way, try to slow down and think a minute.  Can you think what triggered it?  Did it happen at a certain time of day, etc., etc., etc., to quote the King of Siam : -).

Next are you still eating the liver friendly foods, drinking lots of water, and, a biggie as far as I am concerned, --- Have you, are you pampering yourself some?  What you went through is harsh.  You need a little 'extra care and attention' now.

Oh, and one final thought:  I have been having a lot of sleeplessness since completion of meds.  Way more than I ever din in tx.  THAT, by itself, makes me cranky when I am not aware of it and don't compensate woth extra rest, etc.  Also did you immediately resume your pre tx work/activity levels?  Too much, too soon just because you feel more energy, could affect you.

Not trying to say any of this fits you, just offering suggestions.  If they help, good.  If they do not, just smile, and pass them off as 'Pat trying to help' and go on down the road.

Hope you feel better real soon.  Remember my complaints in the first few weeks after tx?  Now, except for shorter nights, I feel really good - and, inspite of shorter nights, still have more energy that I can remember having in years.  Just something to look forward to.  <<>>.
