Post-treatment labs

I finished 48 weeks of SOC treatment about 3 weeks ago.  Just called the doctor's office to find out when I need to have labs done (I was thinking 4 weeks?).  They (Medical Assistant?)  said I don't need to have any labs done untiil 12 weeks.  
Is this the recommendation?

sure would insist on it - the odds that you will have SVR are like 90% if you are clear after the first 4 weeks.......

Then once you get that result you can do the 12 weeks but no way I would have wanted to wait!!!!!

Just like with the 4 week PCR on treatment if he gives you much guff just offer to pay for it yourself if insurance doesn't cover it (I think they'd have to they are aware of what it means) and that will help show him how much you really are insisting in a nice way of course!  ;)

Is there any reason to check any other labs right now?  (CBC maybe.)  I'm certainly not back to "normal" yet, but I'm feeling MUCH better than I was 3 or 4 weeks ago.
