Hi, glad you have started treatment but sorry you are feeling bad.   I too get the headaches , they usually wake me up in the early morning.  The good news is, I have read that the headaches usually eventually get better.  I am five weeks into treatment and the headaches don't wake me up as often as they did the first few weeks.  I am hoping that soon they will be gone.  Good luck to you and stay strong.

Congratulations on beginning TX.  It takes courage to beat this dragon that's dragging your life around.  Just imagine that your headaches are those virons death.  or as a woman I imagined childbirth but I was giving birth to myself.  You know it may well be painful at some points but the end justifies the means so to speak.  We are so fortunate to finally have this way out of a burdoned health.  I fear ESLD more than the TX.  Also TX is temporary, Hep C is forever.  Darn!

Then there is the courage factor - your family will be so proud of you and the example you set.  I am.  We are here for the journey as we are all climbing the same mountain.  = : )

I still felt OK at the five day mark. Keep in mind there are lots of members here and it is not unusual for some folks to post more often when they feel bad. Here lately, when I am doing great the computer is usually the last place you will find me.

It's a good idea to know what to expect but there is always the possibility you will not experience every single side effect - or if you do it may not be as debilitating for you.  :)

Hang in there. It is worth it. Drink as much water as you can stand. its better to float than having those awful medaches. NP informed me to drink half body weight in oz. of water.
