You have the most common genotype and the one that responds to the new all oral treatment. That is good news.

The GFR is in the normal range and it means your kidneys are functioning properly. The 500,000 (or 5.7 log) are two ways to express your viral load and it means you have chronic hepatitis C. Detected means that they were able to see the actual virus in your blood, not just the antibodies. You need to ask the doctor which genotype you are and if you should be considering treatment at this time.

Best to you.

What does all that mean?

You have Hepatitis C.   Your viral load is 500,000 (log 5.7) and your Kidney function (GFR)  is used to screen for and detect early kidney damage and to monitor kidney status.
