Post tx results

Just a little history... I started tx Dec. 26, 2009 - Geno 1a, stage 2, starting vl. 5mil. I was in the Teleprevir trial no placebo.
Had my 6 month post tx blood work last week and the results are UND considered SVR and done with the trial.

I do have  a question for those who have completed tx-- it seems that since tx I have what seems to be exelerated arthritis in different joints. I had it before but it seems to have gotten much worse since tx. Has anyone experienced this some what side effect of tx.

Mike

Thank you for the congrats.

This seems different-- I already had arthritis from injuries growing up, knee, shoulder etc. But since tx I am also feeling it in my big toes, elbows, back etc. Perhaps it is just old age.

Thanks for the reply.

First, a HUUUGE congratulations on your SVR!!!!!!

I remember you from the first time you came to the forum and am so thrilled you made it!!!!

I had excruciating pain in my knees for a while after treatment. They were also swollen. It was so bad it kept me awake at night. I would take ibuprofen and when it wore of, the pain would wake me up again. It subsides after a while. 1 year post I still have a tiny little stiffness left in my knees and fingers.
