I would as well since it seems that relapsers seem to have a slightly better chance at svr than non-responders, thanks.
I agree that you would be considered a Relapser for this 3rd treatment.
However, for your first two treatments you would be classified as follows depending on your previous response:
Null responders are patients who fail to achieve at least a 2-log decline in HCV RNA (from baseline) after 24 weeks of therapy.
Partial responders demonstrate a > 2-log decline in HCV RNA (from baseline) at treatment week 12 (EVR) but fail to achieve an undetectable level at week 24.
I would imagine that your doctors would want to know all three of your treatment responses.
Thanks, at my 48 week EOT I was undetected then at my 6 month svr appointment I found out that I relapsed so I'm a relapser, thanks a lot.
If you were UND along the way but the virus later returned then you relapsed. If you never achieved UND status then you are a non-responder. I'm guessing you relapsed because current futility rules state that non responders are not supposed to stay on tx past 12 weeks. I'm so sorry to hear that you did relapse. If you were UND for a long time it at least may have given your liver a break from the relentless assault of the virus. I hope you can get rid of it the next time around.
