I stopped tx in March. I never felt bad before tx (regarding any symptoms of hep c)
didn't feel that great on tx, but started feeling like my pre-tx self about 6 weeks after tx. I was worried I would feel bad forever, but not so!
Everyone's different...just hope you're lucky.

I'm just under 6 mo's post trx, and still feeling worse than before trx, but better than while on trx.  Keep searching the site--many people still feeling bad after a year or two, lots, like above, feeling better than ever.  I  was hoping i would too by now, but at least i seem to slowwwwly keep improving, with ups and downs of course.  Slower than i would have liked (still not up to full time work yet), but i think it's happening.  In other words, i have hope that the trx hasn't caused me long-term complications as it does for some.  Keep expecting the best, and doing the next right thing!

I am 9 months post and feel great.  The difference I felt pretty quickly, but you will have the up and down tired.  That did not last long for me.  It just depends on the person, everyone is different, just like with the sides of tx.
I do have to say regarding hepC and my tx and post, I feel great today.

Hope that helps

I'm 4 months post tx, and I feel faaaabulous. Better than I have since I was 17 years old (the year I was infected). In fact, I feel better than I did when I was 17. I've got a good job, a little money, a cool car and all my teenage insecurities are gone. And now I have my health back too...what more could I ask for?  Surf's up man, dig it!

I stopped treating 14 months ago and I feel better than I have in years. It took awhile and I felt the most improvement after I started excercising again. I think if I had started walking again sooner I would have improved sooner.

Every person is different so no-one can say with any certainty how you will feel after tx.
Admittedly there is a percentage of people that seem permanently damaged by tx, but then there are those that have never felt better afterwards.

I know that for the first 28 weeks of treatment I felt like absolute ka-ka.. then I had to halve my dose for a month due to sx and I was amazed at how much better I felt after the first 3 weeks of that dose reduction.
I returned to full dose for a while but I never again felt as bad as I did for the first 28 weeks.

My husband and I cant wait til I finish tx - in just a short 7 weeks time :P .. We are certain that I am going to be feeling great within a couple of months and he is concerned I am going to be a little superball of energy next year :D LOL
