I believe you will achieve SVR. Stay positive.
Did you have a 6 week or will you have a 8 week EOT VL test?
Even though my opinion is go with the 8 weeks.
Since you live in Quebec I don't know if some sort of Gilead Patient Assistance Programs is available to ask for the 4 additional weeks for free.
FYI to those reading here are the links to 4 former Question threads printze posted about Tx for 8 weeks vs 12 weeks with lots of replies some repeated.

Thanks I will do a viral load next Monday the last day of my tx Gilead is waiting on a call from the supervisor at the insurance company they are to get back to him tomorrow my doctor is also putting a call in to. I am trying to stay positive that I will still achieve svr.
Sending good thoughts your way on a positive, er, negative, well, you know what I mean, outcome to this saga
Even if not needed, it would provide such a relief to have a backup plan, right?

The verdict is in they denied 2nd time late this afternoon. Have to put faith in God he will help me.
Anyway the 12 week post eot is the most important one others have achieved Svr being detected at eot got to be positive, right?
Exactly printze!! Keep positive! I was detected at 4 weeks and undetected EOT. I have my 4 week post treatment labs tomorrow I am a nervous wreck, but keeping my eyes on the prize!
You've treated, you've got faith, you will achieve SVR printze!
Blessings & cure,
Randy
I appreciate your support I still am on treatment till next Monday I am optimistic that the remaining have been eradicated by now. I am sure.

Hit the post button twice, sorry.
I wish you the best in your fight against hep C. Are you saying that you have never reached und yet? If so, that's unusual. Did you only do the 8 weeks and are fighting for 4 more weeks?
My 8 weeks finishes Monday my last pill. At 4 weeks I was detected 60 that was three weeks ago.
I really don't know why you are not getting 12 weeks. Maybe don't give up yet. Make your dr really fight for one more bottle. Best wishes either way. I finish my 12 weeks in 9 days. That last pill will be a happy day. Then I wait 3 months for the results!
You said that Gilead was calling the Ins Co (before the 2nd denial). Does that mean they are involved and you may be getting the extra 4 weeks (free) from them?
I agree with all above comments especially staying positive and the power of prayer, but as I have said before, I also believe in backup and being proactive and taking a few extra meds rather than a few too few!
Hang in there, keep on keeping on!!
Blessings and prayers!
Pat
I was detected at 8 weeks, but am now SVR 24 EOT. Don't give up.
We are doing everything we can my nurse is trying with Gilead to get them for free, the rep at Gilead who handles my file got a call from the supervisor at my insurance company and they are reviewing it again. I have both teams working on it there is nothing to do but wait I have till Friday.
Hang in there Printze Gilead is fighting my insurance company also. I am sure they will expedite yours since you are already on treatment. Wishing you the best
