Stage 4 Cirrhosis

Hello everyone:
I am new at this so here goes.  I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cirrhosis over a year ago.  I have since lost my job because of insurance costs and have no medical insurance and have not seen a doctor in months.

The diagnosis was Stage 4 Cirrhosis caused by fatty liver a little over a year ago.  I had a biopsey and this is what they found out.  I don't drink and hardly eat and have not lost any weight.  From what I have read here my weight will knock me out of a tranceplant.  I have been throwing up nearly everytime I eat so, I am only eating a small amount of dinner and then only then because my husband says I have to put something into my body.  When he works late, I don't eat and tell him that I did.  My confusion is so bad that I set the kitchen on fire 3 times.  I don't cook anymore unless my husband is here or I use the crockpot. I have been very sick and exhausted for a few years and now it is getting worse.... a Lot worse.  Some days I can hardly lift my head up and the pain, most days it is indescribable.  I am also confused most days and some days it is bad.  My muscles ache so bad now on top of the liver pain, it keeps me awake at night or either I cry in my sleep and it wakes my husband up.  Does anyone have any clues as to what my options are for healthcare?  My husband only makes $40,000 a year and the state says that is too much.  What can I expect now??

I hope someone can make since of this... I have trouble putting any thoughts out the right way.

Idk what state you live in, but many states offer a Medicaid type coverage. Payment is based on a sliding scale depending on income. Go park ur sick self at your local Dhs office. Keep making phone calls and telling ur story. Write it down on case u ramble. Lol. I'm not kidding. You have rights as an American citizen and you deserve good health care! Don't quit. You're your own best advocate! Xoxo Karen Call Catholic Charities, call the health dept, call SSI.
