Labs at 5 weeks

Just got my labs back from before shot #5: Heptimax shows <5 IU mL and the log is <0.70. That's the good news. My RBC, HGB and HCT are all low, but I'm taking procrit to fight that. The other think that has shown up is the gene for hemocromotosis. I'm sitting with my doc tomorrow to discuss options. My ferritin and iron levels were thru the roof which precipitated the hemo test. What can I make of all of this? Kill those Bugs!!!   Pauly

Forgot your stats but being non-detecible at week 4 with a sensitive VL test like Heptimax is wonderful news! You've substantially increased your odds for SVR! Don't know much about hemocromotosis, but obviously it isn't affecting your viral load decline. Hope it all works out.
