Another hurricane to have to deal w/on treatment

I know that others are feeling the same frustration and irritation by all of these storms.  I seem to be more irritable than irritable dealing with this on treatment.  Since I live alone, I don't have any help in preparations, nobody to board up my windows or anything like that, so even though I know tape doesn't do squat, I taped anyhow.  I've just about done on my preparations, but so-so irritable and so-so tired, just unbelievably so, after the 3rd time of doing this.  I'm on the Central East Coast of Florida, better known as the Space Coast.

Other Floridians, write back!

Welcome back to our modest forum. We did miss your WISDOM during your absence. I'm glad you decided to reveal your secret for SUCCESS to us MORTALS. It's certainly a pity I wasn't aware of this prior to Tx.
I certainly HOPE that you'll kick ass out this hurricane as well.

Stay well & good luck,

Pluto man!!! Whazzzzz Up!!
Just checking in, been battling lines at the stores, and trying to get my house ready.. man, I still have debris from Frances.. My yard already has palm fronds all over, and the storm hasn't made landfall. I'm only getting like 25mph winds.. My buddies, want to head down to the Keys, like Islemorada, to go fishing.. My wife says that if I leave, I am gone for ever.. All my stuff will be thrown outside, and she wont talk to me for weeks.. Right now, I'm deciding which is worse?? Storm, or wife.. Looks like I'll be staying home tonight!!

By the way, I haven't been around as much, as me and Rev have been duking it out at Lou's site..I get my meds on Tuesday, as pharmacy messed up my order, and didn't send it out on Thursday.. My mom is on tx, did shot 2 lastnight, and hasn't had any sx's so far.. Nothing, amazing.. Hope my next try will gom the same.. Actually, I don't care what happens, as I am going to kick some damn dragon @ss!! mind is made up, and I want this damn thing out!! My Vl dropped to 4000, and my blood work has improved alot!! Dr says that whatever I'm doing, to keep it up. My secret, sex, vitamins, and lots of fishing!!! Gauranteed to cure whatever troubles you.. good day to all, and I'll be starting either next friday, or following friday.. Best of luck to all!!!

I'm on the Nature Coast. North west of Tampa area. I still have over 2 acres flooded and that is just here at home. I haven't had the heart to go over and check on our 12.5 acres we own just east of Brooksville. It is or maybe was heavily wooded with huge grandfather trees. My friend lost 4 horses , 1 a weanling, when a tree crushed her barn during Francis.
I've been  in Florida since 1969 and we don't plan on retiring here.  The only saving grace is that about 5 years ago we had the 3M Security/Hurricane film installed on all our windows. No more boarding up for us. It was worth the equity loan to have it done. Of course if a Cat 4 or Cat 5 hits direct..film won't do squat, either will boarding up.
Even with full energy it's hard to play this waiting game of hit or miss with these damn storms. Takes already frayed nerves and grinds them into pulp.
Everyone stay safe.

I'm here in Ft. Lauderdale and I'm not on treatment but these storms are really exhausting both mentally and physically.  I really feel for everyone on tx. The worst is when they come into the state on an angle.
I'm not sure even the Hurricane Center knows where they will hit until it actually makes landfall.  We must prepare even so, especially now that we are under a hurricane warning.
It's been a bad season, but it will be over soon, we are two thirds through it now. El Nino is due to return in 2005 which means more tropical storms and hurricanes in the eastern Pacific and a decrease in the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Some benefit and some don't but it will help the southeast.
Be safe everyone & lets check back in when the storm passes.

I know what you mean dealing with treatment and sides is bad enough but adding a few hurricanes on top of treatment is a enough to send you over the edge. Sorry you are having to deal with all this alone. Hopefully this will be the last of the season according to the farmers almanac 4 were predicted to hit the florida coast. I live in Sanford and I'm in the middle of renovating a condo on Cocoa Bch . I didn't board the condo for Frances and probably will not board for this hurricane either plan to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. anyway just wanted to let you know someone else is sharing your frustration. Make sure you gas up I understand lines are already forming at the pumps. Best wishes to you and good luck!!

Due to a "fluke," I have not started tx, yet...probably a good thing, as we were without power 11 days after Frances, and I still haven't finished cleaning up debris.  Now, we are heading back to hell again with Jeanne. I'm just outside of St. Augustine.

I hope things are manageable for you...if I was a little closer, I'd be happy to help. It's a bummer, for sure.
