4 months post labz.

Yesterday i got my 4 months post tx lab results. My CBC was quite normal with hgb 15.4.   ALT was 18. My ALT is decreasing month by month as

At EOT              38
1 month post      36
2 months post    31
3 months post    22
4 months post    18 (yesterday)

Though all the weakness and poblems relating to tx have gone and there is no any side effect now, but legs fatigue and tiredness as it was before starting tx, is still present. Why is it???????

YAY that is so wonderful I am so happy for you just look at those numbers get better and better each time!

Everyone is right  - it does take a while to get that horrible riba out of your system...slow and steady Alijee that is what wins the race.  have patience and eventually you will feel much better!

That looks great my friend. Congratulations!!! It surely looks that it is a sign that you killed the dragon! Can't wait to read your SVR.

About your legs, I have had all weird kind of things coming up after tx. Heavy legs was one of them, but it's gone now. Don't forget to drink sufficient water, one tends to forget after tx. And maybe you can try to get some extra exercise for your legs, it helps.

Hey, well done, Alijee!!!!  Those numbers are looking great!  As copyman has mentioned you still have the riba in your system so you still have a few more months to clear it.  Also, are you feeling strong enough to do any excercise regimes?  I also get tiredness in my legs and put it down to the interferon wasting my muscles.  I don't think it will return naturally so I'm about to begin a moderate excercise program to help build up my muscle tone...

Once agin, well done!

congrats on the labs getting better every month.

almost everyone has some type of lasting effect from this harsh treatment. consider yourself lucky to have just the few you have. Hopefully those will subside over time. Don't forget that ribavirin takes 6 months to leave the body.

Best of luck
