I received the  swine  flu shot, about 3 weeks ago. Appx 2 days later my HCv symptoms became acutely aggravated. Extremely sleepy and  other side effects. It is recommend by my doctor(s) to get the swine flu shot. I was hesitate giving I am having an up month. Strongly suggest everyone worldwide with HCV patients to get the swine flu shot. If this was a small taste of the swine flu. My honest opinion us HCV would not make it.
I recommend you speak to your doctor(s) opinion to get the swine flu shot. I have improved today. And well worth it. Best to all

I don't think you were having a reaction from the flu shot it is my understanding you cannot get the flu from a flu vaccine but I would agree that anyone with hepC or any other chronic disease be vaccinated even after they have gotten rid of the virus........

My understanding is the H1 flu shot is a dead virus and you should have little symtoms.

I would not think you should try the H1 spray which is made with a live virus.

Maybe someone else has more specific info.

But, don't scare yourself  to the point you develop symtoms..

That can happen..fear is a terrible thing. I've been there too many times.

If you don't feel better soon maybe you should check with your doctor.

I think I have already had the flu, 2 months post EOT. Did't get tested though, but I won't have the vaccine anyway. To much insecurity around it imo....

I was contacted by my doctor's nurse today. She said that I was eligible for a free H1N1 vaccine. (must be because I had HCV, I'm SVR now) They have just started vaccinating ppl here in Denmark. I said no thanks. I'm not keen on getting this vaccine.

On '60 minutes' they said 99% of the people who get the flu will just have a regular flu.
It's people with asthma and other respiratory ailments who seem to be at greatest risk.
