Thanks for reposting, but I still get Graph Not Available, not sure how why Jasper can see it and I can't. Could you try shortening the link using http://tinyurl.com/ ?

The ole ship is once again ready set sail after a lay over and port call to pirate’s cove for some much needed repairs. The masts and yard arms have been refitted after months of tattering by storms and many battles of thy past as well as the rigging for the very hemp that had bonded the mast to the cross arms and beams had also become brittle with time. The poop deck had been re-planked for the stains and fowl odor of the past journeys into the un-chartered waters have left their marks as well as the ships wheel for it has suffered the most for her spokes have been whittled down into nubs of the frightful nights of many weathered storms a mists the pounding swells that towered so high and the turbulent descent to the endless bottoms for the ships haul has become imbedded with the many scars of the keel hauling of the virions that once laid attack to her bottom but has now become sea worthy once again. After the many well fought battles during the past journeys of the maiden voyage and if not for her 48 guns she may have very well laid next to Davie Jones locker in due course but because of this fine captain who had navigated such a ship during these trying times has been on the mends as well and unscathed by much of the beatings his ship has taken in so many months has not escaped entirely of them and is satisfied with the present status of being und at 17/17 and all systems normal and wishing you well also.

LOL!!!! I hope I've filled my share of spaces already!! How are you doing geter? 2 months post and I am just beginning to feel like I am gaining a little strength back...I seem to be suffering from the "fat belly syndrome" and lower extremities(,hips, knees, leg muscles in general-even my shins!) are aching to beat the band. If not for the aching, I'd be pretty happy with my post tx recovery so far. Hope all is well with you. You're about due for your 3 month post pcr?

My God Man,,, I hope you aren't going to or have to fill ALL those empty spaces at the end of that chart.

Morning all...Smaug, I can understand your reluctance to increased riba with your cancer history, but think (for what that is worth) you made the right decision.. My increases certainly did knock my hbg lower, but it took awhile for it to do so. Again, best of luck and keep us posted...(was in your neck of the woods yesterday---what's up with the Home Depot closing?--sucks)
Here is a chart and data table of my basic cbc's through treatment, as I mentioned I increased riba @ 8 and 12 weeks..

This morning the doc and I decided to up the riba to 1400 and start Alinia too, but not to double dose. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.

the Alinia has been the least problematic of the 3.....really a non-issue after a couple days, side wise. Uping Riba...well that's another story...would wish my worst enemy more of that carp.

Weight-based, my riba was 1000, and that was upped to 1200 a while back. My hg has bounced between 11-12, so haven't needed procrit. Doc thinks upping the riba would increase my chances 15% tops - and she mentioned that for a small percentage of people heavy doses of riba caused cancerous tumors to sprout (I hadn't heard that before). With my cancer history and treatments I've had for it, seems risky.
Going to see the doc tomorrow to decide, and everything's on the table. Right now I feel less inclined to beat the **** out of my body for a small increased chance of und, when I can fall back on HR's cocktail and wait 3-4 years for something better if I don't get there now. I am stage 3 though, and don't know fully the risk of waiting.
gauf: yes, it is smaug from The Hobbit. the original plan had been to slay smaug the dragon in 48 weeks...

"Hit it with everything you have in the tool box"
This is my opinion too, Smaug. Give it all you got.
What about double dosing the peg for a few weeks(with your docs approval..*)), try and nuke the sh1t out of it with the immediate virus killing effect of the interferon?
Sorry to hear about your latest pcr/tma result smaug. As I mentioned to you in a pm, I think adding the Alinia at this point certainly can't hurt, and who knows, just might help. I have to agree with gauf also, why not up the riba? How is your hgb holding out? I'm a bit surprised the riba wasn't already upped for the second time, as it was in my case (upped @ 8 weeks, upped @ 12 weeks),,,Being 6 weeks away from the 24 week mark, knowing your doc is aggressive,I'd hit it with everything you have in the tool box, blood results willing-even if you need immediate helper drugs to stave off low reds and whites..
Best of luck

Alinia is pretty benign. A lttle stomach upset a week in that goes away. No sx I have experienced beyond that for the month I have been on it. Get some inulin and culterelle to replace the bacteria and take an Alinia pill twice a day. I myself would up the riba a bit too, but I don't know your situation so am not recommending that. Good luck smaug!
p.s. Is that the dragon "smaug", from the hobbit?
