'Blood to Blood' means just that. Blood from a person infected with Hcv must come into contact with the blood of an UNinfected person inside the uninfected person's body.
that is why blood transfusions and drug use are the primary modes of transmission for Hcv.
PLEASE stop stressing about this. Your risk is less than -0-.
If you want to worry, worry about something remotely possible, such as winning the lottery or getting run over by a bus.
the infected blood has to somehow enter your bloodstream. There is NO way that happened here.
STOP worrying.
Hi again!
Still very stressed.... Could sombody relly explain what blood to blood means? If I didn´t touch the blood with my bare hands and didn´t see any blood on my hands can I say that it was not a blood to blood contact?
Sorry for asking these questions. I´m just very scared. Hopefully you don´t get mad at me!
Thank you
Hi guys!
Thank you for your comments! I know I´m a little obsessive when it comes to blood. I´m just so scered of it...
Could someone axplain me what exactly is blood to blood contact? Does it mean that that blood should have gone DIRECTLY to my cuticle cut and in order to catch something I shoud have touched the blood with my bare hands? Please tell me and educate me more on this!
I´m so worried since I have a little girl and also might be pregnant again...
Thank you SO much!
Hello, I think you did take enough precautions you should not worry, Further more it has to be blood on blood contact. Which I do NOT read that it is this situation. Do not fret over anything, be thankful for what you have, not what may have happend, not could couldve happend, OR what IF's
I think that you took enough precautions to reasonably not have any worries.
I would not be overly worried.
I would however advise you that I tell EVERYONE to get a HEP PANEL every 2-3 years.
Not for peace of mind - but for your pocket book.
If they had found my hepatitis C faster - I wouldn't have paid so much money looking for something else (cancer, etc... Things that could be causing the symptoms)
I spent so much money on medical - that it's crazy that a 50 dollar test could have found it all.
Sigh....
Anyhow - much luck to you - and try not to overly worry - live your life - enjoy it - and while being careful is a good thing --- being obsessive about anything can be bad for you.
