Tonight at 9:00 pm I will take the last three pills of
ribavirine. I had my last shot last Thursday and just received
my viral load at week 48 which came back undetectable.
This is the third time during treatment, I got the same
result at week 12, and week 24 before.
I just would like to thank every and each one of you.
You are my family. You see, we are all different in
race, religion, color and nationality but this disease
made us one group. I smiled with your good news, I cried
with your bad news and hoped for every one to reach his or
her goal no matter what your background is.
I am writing this to thank you all and to apologize if I
ever was rough or tough in my discussion (fatboy, do you
hear me?).
Wish me luck in my next PCR's.

That is GREAT news!  I am so happy for you, and I can add another "undetectable" to my list.  This is like family here, every day I feel compelled to stop in and see how everyone is doing.  It's sort of like reading "Dear Abby", but it's our "Dear Heppy" column.   I have started a journal of types (1a B C etc) weeks on tx and success rates.  Just a way to keep track of the success.  It seems there are a LOT more successes than the 50-50 chances they give us at the start of tx.  If you can think of it toss in your type, weeks on tx/week of tx, age, Pegasys or PegIntron, that would be helpful. I will tell you later on how the stats are going.  Augs/ohc67 1b, 48/10, 54, Pegasys.
