I thought he was. I guess he's not. Thanks for the correction. I don't like to post inacurate information.
Dr. Gish is an excellent Heptologist but he isn't a treansplant surgeon. Here is his CV.

Dr. Gish is a liver transplant surgeon
Are you sure about that?
Cue-"Twilight Zone theme" Da-da-da da, Da-da-da-da...
Wow, I just recommended this book to the poster in the thread above. What are the odds?
Dr. Gish is a liver transplant surgeon, but his mind is open or he wouldn't have cowritten that book with Misha Cohen.
In Dolan's book I like the list of things he says to avoid. That was very helpful to me. I think it was my first hep. C book.
Misha Cohen has long been a well respected figure in the alternative medical field and was one of the first I heard warn of mixing Bupleurum formulas with IFN long before the San Diego studies.
another great book is "the hepatitis C handbook" by matthew dolan. although it has been around a few years it is very helpful especially to anyone just finding out they have HCV.
thank you for bringing that up again for new members. We benefited from Califia's input on that subject and book a while back, maybe too long ago. It is nice when good things get recycled for the new people to enjoy.
