Treatment with victrelis

Hi everyone,

treatment naive 1b here. On Vic , now on week 14 of tx. A little tired, hgb 1/3 tanked, but doing pretty good. Was UND at weeks 2,4,and 8 after starting victrelis. Next PCR at week 24 of tx.  Statistically speaking, what are the odds that this tx will work. Can mutations still happen, or would that have happenned already?

Also done Vic in the latest trial and was eRVR also at week 6 on, from what i remember my doctor telling me that if mutations were to happy its most likely eary in treatment so i wouldn't worry about that, as for your odds i agree with sandysf........ Your in great shape, couldn't ask for any better news.

BTW, i am cirrhotic and still pulled the SVR out of the hat.

Sounds like you are doing very well!  Good for you.   My doctor referenced a study that indicated those trial participants on Vic who had RVR (which you did) had a 96% chance of SVR.   I cannot answer the mutations question.
