PCR numbers

Is it possible that my PCR results came back at 6,200,000 IU/ML?  What does this mean?

Thanks.

It's a fairly typical viral load. It means you have a chronic Hepatitis C infection, but not much else until you start treating, at which time it would be used as a reference pont to see how you are responding to treatment.

I means you have chronic HCV and the viral load is 6.2 mill per milliliter of blood

The viral load is quite insignificant actually and numbers like that are seen all the time.

More importantly do you know what genotype you have?
