Sorry, I have not been on my computer for a few days. Yes, It is the A @ D ointment for cuts, scrapes rashes . I also have very sensitive skin ( ERGO THE REASON FOR THE RASH ) but this ointment did the trick out of all the over the counter stuff and the dermatoligests too. And with every day use ( I put it on when I go to bed, yes it is greasy because it is an ointment) it has reduced my wrinkles on my face by like 85% WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love this stuff. I told my facialist about this unkown secret . Then in the morning, I wash my face with cetiphil and put on my moisterizer for sensitive skin. I have not broke out ( THAT"S A MIRICLE ON IT"S OWN ) I figure that our body and skin repair itself at night when we rest, and it is working for me. I just thought I'd spread it to whom that would like to get relief and get rid of the deadly rash. Just my opinion and though it worked for me and I heard it from VXman on this forum. HEY EVERY LITTLE TIDBIT COUNTS< WE ALL COULD TRY IT OR NOT. I tried it and it worked for me. Good luck to all with this nasty rash.
Happy Deb :)
I also like the Gold Bond, but I don't think I would wanna put it around my eyes...cause of the menthol...probly burn like a ......
I think A & D ointment is also recommended for use after tattooing......not that this is important. I think we should all stay away from the parlours!
Make sure you keep on using the ointments / lotions when the rash disappears or they will come back again. Mine did unfortunately. I thought it was gone so I stopped and there it came again.
URGH.
I do think she meant A&D like the diaper ointment - it would be awesome for hydrating but too greasy for me. I liked the Gold Bond Triple Threat Anti Itch the best but anything that would totally hydrate and cover would work I'd imagine.
A&D is an over counter ointment for scrapes, burns, the itchies and diaper rash.
Good to know .
