Gilead Trial/How is everyone doing?

How is every doing with Gilead Trial 5885/9451/SOC?  How are your labs?  Please let me know???  I am at week 5, have not received 4 wk VL results yet (had them taken Tuesday) I was undetected at wk. 2. Now my Hemoglobin is down to 10.9 at wk 4 labs (Tuesday also). At start it was 16. They called me to retest this next week instead on at next scheduled appointment on Jan. 24.  They may lower my Ribv. dose.  That's OK, I don't think that is whats working here anyway.  A little scared about it though. What can happen if I get too low? Is it dangerous?  Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.  Happy New Year.  Spunky1

For me VL week 1 336, week #2 188, week #4 570, baseline 17.7 mil. I did my week #8 bloodwork last Wed. and am waiting for PCR test results. My hgb did drop to 9.6 by week #8, I did get these numbers back the very next day. I had to reduce my riba dose. I did hgb bloodwork this past Wed after one week of riba reduction- I should hear something today. I don't feel so great but just figured thats part of the deal. Fight on is all we have. Best of luck to all. I do know that all the folks that are at week 8 at my doc office, 4 folks, are UND. Also there are others on this site that are UND at week 4 and 8. Best of luck.

Congratulations on being undetected at week two. It seems a few peopleon this trial have achieved that. Unfortunately not so lucky. I was 108 at week 4 from 3.5 ml baseline. Still good but not perfect!  8 week blood next week.   My hcg was 11.6 at week 4 from 13.5 baseline. Not bad. Will see what week 8 is.  There have been a lot of posts here on reducing but you have to keep yourself healthy and from what I have read it does not seem to impact the outcome so much. Good luck and let us know.
