Nice to see that :)
We all mean well and as HPG says ,laughter really does help.
Welcome to the group..
Will
thank you for clearing that up for me nygirl.....now i can't get the song out of my head.....
"Yankee doodle went to town doodah, doodah".....
...and why was he singing about a doodah anyway....
The doodah is the opposite of a hooha ;)
Origin:
1930–35; probably < Yiddish hu-ha to-do, uproar, exclamation of surprise; compare Polish hu-ha exclamation of joy
I think "excalamtion of surprise" would be the most appropriate definition of hooha in the OP question! HA
now i know what a hooha is....(uncleDude looks down and wonders "what if....")....hmmmmmmmmm....nevermind.....;)
...no burning in my doohah either....wait, what's a doodah?
I know what a doodah is~ but not a hooha.
ROFL, thanks I needed that today, laughter is the best medicine.
OMG Laughing OUT loud for REAL I'm going to get in so much trouble. Best post EVER Will!
The forum is really a wonderful place.
Over 40 posts on the "hooha "
One of our male members it not sure if he has one
We are not sure where exactely the fire spewing exits from .
And 4 major disagreements and arguments on all subjects above.
Where else can you find this much to smile about?? :0)
Will
Boce you are a girl.......dont sing about it too loudly. UncleD does not have one but you do. Think about it.
Lol, I was singin about my Hooha last night, and still dont know what one is....: 0
I was a little confused on the hooha thing too..then when Unc asked if he had one... I thought ..gee hope not but who knows these days."
I just laughed so hard I cried at my desk. Still chuckling at you guys.
just make sure that you drink LOTS of water. it really helps with sx. good luck on your journey to better health. belle
And I signed up for this sh*t?!
I certainly hope this is not the case.
......................................................................................
Hoohas aside, cheppy you'll know when a side hits. And I hope you have none. Really, only best of tx and success.

Yeah, the muscle ache was annoying for me, because I wanted to sleep, but the tension in my muscles was making that hard. I also used to get whiney, the Interferon made me feel like how I used to feel, when I was little kid, fighting off a little flu, and my mom would make me stay home from school.
Our bodies make natural Interferon, and then the shot enhances our own Interferon, so I felt a bit like I had a very mild flu, the first 6 or 8 shots maybe, and then for a couple of shots, I got a head-ache the next day. But now, I am fine the day after the shot, it's ever changing but I feel pretty good, I'm managing to have some fun~
For clarity's sake, please say what you mean, or in this case, ask what you mean.
People doing tx, and with symptoms of hep C, may not be very clear headed.
It's easy to get confused.
While I currently don't have either of these excuses to fall on, I can at times take people literally.
So when you ask, when something's going to happen, I thought that's what you meant, not what could possibly happen.
You have a great day too:)
Thank You... this was valuable information
:) Have a great Day
Hi Cheppie, I think my first four shots were the worst, and then my body began getting used to all the meds, that I'm taking (triple tx with victrelis)
I think I have burned in quite a few places while on treatment, but the interferon shjot tends to start having sx about 6 hours after the injection, to about 48 hrs...with me. I get an achey back, but usually still function.
I stopped working out though, because the Interferon ache was worse where I was working out hard....I still work out after my shot though, I take walks around the block, thru-out the day : )
If you start having a weird side effect, like a little nausea or a little anxiety, just eat a nice meal, and go for a little walk around the block, to distract your-self. Most of my symptoms have gone away in 20~40 minutes, and then I will feel okay, for a couple hours, then a little weird again, then it's time to pop more pills again.
Good luck with your journey!~
I was a little confused on the hooha thing too..then when Unc asked if he had one... I thought ..gee hope not but who knows these days.
You poor gals if the fire spewing is happening from "all exits"
OP: To be preparred is good ,however try not to stew about what may never be.
Good luck with your treatment..
Will
According to urban dictionary, no you do not have a hooha.
I think the OP was using it in a different context though..I was confused at first as well.
I really hope a burning hooha is NOT the sides list...I.have enough other weird stuff already happening!
"Oy" is right Idyllic :)
Everyone says this happens after the shot. When
can I expect it. Waiting.......................................

Sorry if any of the comments came off harsh. To me, it sounded like you were asking 'when' you will 'get' a certain sx,,,no one knows if or when you will get any sx. I may have misunderstood your question, I'm guessing others may have as well.
If you want to know 'what' to do 'if' the sx happens, which to me, is a completly different question, there is a wealth of knowledge here on that front.
Thats very true. BUT you CAN know what to look for.....and thats
why I ask. Do I believe everything people tell me here? NO!!!!
But the more opinions you get about reactions.... the better prepared you
will be if it happens to you. I have gotten some really great information
from more that one person on this site.
Thank You for responding and have a Great Day : )
Oy. This thread has developed another head and I am sorry for it.
I sent you a PM.
