Wanting to post all day Week 8 TRIPLE / INC

Ive been wanting to post all day but havent had the energy to sit and focus.    Week 8 on triple tx w/ inc. and I am really starting to feel worn down.    Finally have got the firreeah under control, but now I am dealing with sore mouth and itching and rash is starting to really show its ugly head.   I just wonder if there is a connection with taking imodium and slowing down the elimination process as to which all these other sides are getting worse ??  Headaches are starting to become more common as well.     Next Monday I will go for labs and that will lay out the story with HMG & WBC.    Sick of drinking water, and eating fat, but It is better than the alternative.    I dont mean to whine with my cheese, but just had to vent a bit.   Would die for a big fat Fried Chicken Meal right now but dont have the energy to even cook it.    Dang .... I hate being the only female in the house of spoiled men :(

I am starting week 11 this morning, weeks 5 - 10 were very rough I started to feel a little better at 10 1/2 weeks but that is subject to change at any moment, I will just have to wait and see. My hgb has been holding at 12 since week 4, started at 15.4 wbc are at 3.2, i hope yours will do the same, my point is the meds themselves can wear you down even if blood levels remain ok. I have been so tired and constant headaches as well and yes the firrea is under control, I have been battling a constant fever for at least 5 days a week which makes me feel really cr@ppy also nausea everyday since day 2 but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel as far as incivek goes, I still have 36 weeks of SOC to go after that. I hope you get to feeling better and I dont think your helper meds are hurting it just the tri tx meds are tough ones on the body. I have had some itching but really no rash just some really itchy little bumps that as long as I keep lotioned up stay under controll. Hang in there.

I went in today for more lab work. Lucky me got a student again...and a poke in both arms. ugh. I'm sure my values are tanking. They weren't that great 3 weeks ago. I'm very tired and winded. Rash completely covering my back.

Thanks for the encouragement !   You know through all of this so far, I believe that water and eating is the key to keep you up and going.   My rash hasnt been out of control, except in the beginning and that was a little here and there and once I learned that it was absolutely necessary to keep lotioned up with what ever, that took the heat and itch away.     I can tell right before its time to take a dose of inc and riba , because the calm comes on and with in about an hour of taking the meds the itch begins again and then its time to lotion up again and down the water.   So far so good, I guess it could be worse.   I am just hoping my hmg and wbc stay, and dont tank.   Rest is a positive for all of us and good rest at that if it is possible.      Thinking of the future :)  3 1/2 more weeks on INC and hopefully only 12 more weeks on SOC.    That right there would be a miracle :)   Praying for us all.

Jilly Girl !   How are you doing ?   You and I are just hours apart on the same schedule.   I am having a tough week.  Riba rage full steam ahead.  I want to kill everything around me, let alone look at anyone.   Emotions are on end !   I think I am in a place right now where I am starting to crash a bit on hmg & wbc, will find out on Monday.   Just so darn tired, and I am passed fatique and into lethargy.     I really hope and pray you are doing better.   Hugs Carrie
