Finished tx Nov 6th

Hi fellow heppers. I haven't been feeling so good and haven't been here in the pst few days, except for today. I am about 7 weeks post tx. and I have a question? I am having horrible muscle pain that has not stopped since tx. I am also having extremely bad headaches. Has anyone else experienced this since finishing tx. I am alergic to motrin and have to take tylenol. I am so tired of these body aches. Any suggestions???? Thank-you in advance. I love you all, Cindee

Thank-you all for your support. I couldn't handle the pain any longer. I called my G.P. who diagnosed my hep C. He knows what a tough time I've had. He called me in some vicodin for the bad days. Maybe it won't last much longer. I stayed on the sofa for 2 days under the heated throw. Again thank-you all for your continued support. You guys are the greatest. I fall asleep each nite praying for all the sick people in the world...and I try to remember all of my hep family by name. Much Love, Cindee

I'm 12 weeks post-tx and only really started feeling better about 6 weeks after finishing.  The first 4 weeks I could hardly tell that I was done.  Now I feel almost back to myself so hange in there.  Most folks say that it can take up to 6 months to get normal again but you should feel better soon.

hi;  it took me about 2 mon or so off tx.  till the headaches stopped.  im noticing little things gettin better all the time.   if i get too stressed, lose sleep, or eat bad i go backwards so it takes dilegence.   my brain fog is better too.  its hard when ive always been a detail oriented person.   yes drink water the same as when u were on tx.  i can tell when i slack off.  this stuff takes time to get out of the system....  good luck.  i like hearing from people whove been thru it too to share what the after effects can be.

I have just started tx (wk 10/48) and have always been prone to headaches so that has been the worse part for me so far.  Anyway, mine turn into migraines and my GI PA prescribed Imitrex for me to try.  Seems to have worked this past week.....just should have taken it a little sooner so my headache wouldn't have progressed to the point it did.  I've also had Dorvicet prescribed in the past and that has worked some, and not some.
Don't know if this will help but if you do take an Imitrex .... it will either work or not work so only get a couple from the pharmacy (to save money) until you know if it will work.  And, be sure to take it as soon as you feel the headache coming on....don't wait to take it.
