Well 1 month PCR is undetected. We're holding our collective breaths. H - probable stage 4 with a 3-4 for inflamation, well compensated. Pre-treatment slightly elevated ALT/AST, slow clotting time, billirubin slightly elevated, platlets slightly low, albumin slightly off...sigh...today 1 month post, still UND, all bloodwork including platelets, HGB, Neuts, ALT/AST, etc. etc. within normal range. He did not clear according to Heptimax until late, sharp drop at 4 weeks then a slooow cruise to UND. sooooo hold our breath for 2 more months 'til 3 month PCR. H looks great, still maintaining a low body weight (alittle too low, but it looks good on him) and his energy levels while less hyper than on Riba are still up. The funniest thing is there is HAIR growing where there hasn't been any since his late 20s. What a hoot! Anybody tracking statistics on 1 month post treatment PCRs??? This is worse on me than the 48 weeks! Gastro Doc says to H "you're done with me" except for calling in for 3 month and 6 month test results. I asked what happens if it comes back and doc says he refers him to big city university teaching hospital. The 48 went so fast, I hope the next 24 goes equally as fast, I can't believe almost 2 years have past since the original dx. I guess that means I'm 2 years older, too, and have 2 years more of gray hair (under the dye). You all are my rocks. I've learned so very much here.
