World Hepatitis Day - July 28 2011

Seems World Hepatitis Day has been moved from May 19 to July 28 2011.

"Following the adoption of a viral hepatitis resolution during the 63rd World Health Assembly in May 2010, World Hepatitis Day was given global endorsement as the primary focus for national and international awareness-raising efforts and the date was changed to July 28 (in honour of Nobel Laureate Prof. Blumberg, discoverer of the hepatitis B virus, who celebrates his birthday on that date).[11] The resolution resolves that:
"1. 28 July shall be designated as World Hepatitis Day in order to provide an opportunity for education and greater understanding of viral hepatitis as a global public health problem, and to stimulate the strengthening of preventive and control measures of this disease in Member States;"[12]"

Here's the Executive Board and President - seems a different fellow for the Americas than the one from last year who I recall was a rather controversial choice:

I tend to think "liver disease" is too general - however, simply my opinion.  Thanks for your response to my question, James.

Hepatitis is to general.  JMO but that's how all the different viral hepatis' get lumped to gether.  As I'm sure you know for example the HCV virus is more similar to yellow fever than the HBC virus.  I don't want to focus on HBV because I never had it.

The narrower goal of this is to focus on Hepatitis B and C specifically and not liver diseases in general and I think for the purpose of addressing the unique challenges of Hepatitis specifically.  Do you think calling it "World Liver Disease Day" would accomplish that?  I don't...:) ... however I'm interested in what your thinking is on that.
