Worse day yet - Thank you!

I have only completed three weeks (tomorrow) on triple therapy and today I feel so bad it is hard to keep in mind why I am doing this.  Still have awful rash, am so sick to my stomach I am gagging on water.  Have a head ache, hair burns, ears hurt, face burns, butt burns, so tired I can't think straight.  I am trying not to whine but if it is only going to get worse can't imagine how this is all going to feel at six weeks.

Now that out of the way I am so thankful for the questions and responses from this group since you are what I am relying on to get through this.  You make it seem possible to complete this journey. I see my dr. soon and she has a list of meds. I want to keep on hand.  Okay back to work I go and time for more water (ugh).

Again thank you all for just being there!

Thanks for the support.  Slept 11 hours last night with just a break to eat fat and take meds. Feel much better today although symptoms are still there, head is clearer.  Although I have to work I will work in1 hour increments and go for 10 min. walk outside to clear my head and see if this helps my eyes not look like slits at the end of each day.

I found the side effects to be cummulative and it was at week three that it really hit me... I too questioned why I was doing this.  Things really seem to fluctuate, too...  sometimes the SX are more intense than at other times.  Don't hesitate to ask for RX for the sides.

Now that I'm nearing the end of week 31 I've found that one week will be tolerable and the next will be pure agony.  What a rollercoaster ride!!  But the wonderful people here always have just the right thing to say to help get you through the day.

Hang in there!!  Hope things begin to level off for you soon!

So far everything you say seems about right. Incivek side effects are really crappy. I wish I could say it gets better but it varies for everyone. There are ways to treat the nausea. Zofran is really popular so be sure to ask your doctor for a prescription. I did not feel like doing things I enjoy during the Incivek period and that really freaked me out. I had to make myself walk my dogs and go shopping and other little things like that. I developed an interest in yard work and landscaping and that kept me really occupied and helped on the days I couldn't focus on reading. I did not have to work the whole time during that phase and I am really glad. There are others who did and hopefully  they will post and share how they worked through this.
Best of luck♫
