Facial/Eye Swelling

Some mornings my eyes are very swollen.  Does anyone else have this symptom?  I've been off Interferon treatment for 4 months now - it did not work for me (yet?)  I'm to start a new treatment in mid-December.  I was diagnosed in August of 2008 but have most likely had HCV since 1976 when I had a 6 unit blood transfusion.  (again though who knows)

Have you had your thyroid checked since coming off the Interferon?  Swelling of the eyes and puffy face are symptoms of thyroid dysfunction.  Have your doctor test your tsh levels

Haven't had that problem but I know you do not want to sleep in contacts.. I woke up the other night and realized I didn't take it out and it was stuck to my eye. While trying to get it out it scratched my eye and could not wear for 2 days. I guess they dry out too much, which causew them to stick. thank goodness I only wear one
