acupressure bracelets

I have been struggling with nausea and am now trying the acupressure bracelets, they really seem to take the edge off.  I have also decided if its is psychosomatic that is fine with me,

oh a respiratory therapist I could use you.  One of my most nagging symptoms has been a horrible post nasal drip that makes me sick, it seems when I do throw up its just phlegm.
Anyway,  I'm a bit paranoid these days, and I hope your answer was sincere.  I do think the praying helps because the only thing I can do is take the meds, what happens after that is out of my control.

Why is this medication prescribed?

Ondansetron is used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. Ondansetron is in a class of medications called 5-HT3 receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural substance that may cause nausea and vomiting.

it is also known as Zofran.
