eye, yi, yi

I wear bi-focals since hitting middleage and have recently noticed an off white colored area right at the edge of my iris. It wasn’t there before tx. ( Its so easy to blame anything and everything on sxs of HCV or Tx)
Any ideas on what this is would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, its in the white area, on the edge of the iris. It doesn't hurt or anything.

I don't have an optician or insurance. I get my glasses and eyes checked ( along with my teeth) when I'm in Bangkok. Thanks ladies.

OH - check with your optician.

I wouldn't say side effect of TX - but maybe something you might be concerned about.

I don't have it --- but during TX I did develop some sort of returning bubble in my white area... it is like a callous or something - not painful - but it goes and comes daily or monthly --- right under my contact's edge.

Weird. Never associated it with TX - prolly won't either. LOL! But still the optician said it's just like an "eye bump" - like your skin they get them too... Hmmmm He could have been pulling my leg. But he never said it was anything to worry about.

I noticed this in my eye also. In the white of the eye that is, more white than the surroundings.
