r u still up,im sick of not sleeping prop too i think negative real bad on tx,i nearly suicidal somedays,but iv had so much bad things happen since tx so its a combo of bad luck on tx,off tx i cope better with bad luck etc.

I strarted haqving sleep problems after about week 3.It is usually worse the day I take my inj and then the next two nights. the other 4 days of the week,I dont sleep like a baby but I can get to sleep and sleep a couple of hrs,wake up for about 30 min and then dose back off. Dont seem to really ever have a good full nights sleep. But Im scared to nap in the afternoon, Im afraid I wont  be able to sleep at all at night.

I remember those nights, after not sleeping and feeling like cr@p the next day.  If you can take those naps in the afternoon I would take them.  I know with me it didn't matter one way or the other as far as sleeping at night.

I had insomnia during TX and was first given a RX for Ambian - it helped & then later Lunesta but I couldn't take it - gave me this awful "metal taste" that I couldn't handle.  My Dr. had told me to take Benadryl (over the counter capsules) to help with my rash (along with Hydrocortizone 1% cream)  & it will make you sleepy.  It did help some.  I had to take naps in the day & that helped as long as I didn't sleep too long.  I sat at my PC a few nights crying not knowing what to do, who to talk to or not talk to, who helped me, who didn't, etc.  This is a disease that will sure weed out your friends from your TRUE friends.  It gets lonely around here to but at least I'm secure with my list of friends.  Kind of a short list now.....  LOL!  Take care of yourself & post if you need to talk - people here know what you are going through first hand & we'll talk to you.

I never get a full nights sleep.I do take ambein and it helps alot.I do wake up off and during the night.Ther is a timed release ambein CR. I can't tel that much difference except they cost 50.00 and regular cost 10.00. I also take benadryl and ativan which also work sometimes.I guess its something we have to deal with

I take Benadryl about an hour before bedtime.  It help me with the restlessness also.
