Had to stop treatments due to medicare

Has anyone had problems due to Medicare not covering the copegasys treatment?  they are saying I never did the rebatron treatment alone...NOT.  I have been on every treatment, and now am being denied this.  I was having the treatments in UT, and have since came back to NC, hopefully will be able to try again at Duke or Chapel Hill.  I had the best docs in SLC, Ut; sorry to have had to leave them, but I needed to go where someone could help me for now.

Go to Pegasys site - and they also have a place to get assistance for meds.

Much luck

I do not qualify due to being under Medicare.  They will only cover so much of the Rx, and Roche does not offer this to those who recieve Medicare or Medicaid.  Thanks for the info though.   Laura

Schering Plough offers Pegintron & Ribavirin at no charge for those without rx coverage and who meet the financial criteria.  Google Commttment to Care Program and you should find what you need.
