Liver Function Test

Hello,

My LFT results were raised in my most recent LFT. The only one the doctor highlighted was a 52 where the number was 50 previously. She suggested a hepatitis test. It was 50 on 25 January and raised to 52 on 21 November.

She said it is a very small increase but I would like some opinions from you.

I am not at risk for Hep A or C and am immune from Hep B.

Since my last test, I began smoking very heavily every day and have been very stressed - could this raise LFT levels by 2?

Thanks

No, no drugs or alcohol.

However, as noted, six weeks ago I began heavily smoking (50 or more a day), eating junk food daily, ceased exercise... the guy from supersize me had LFT's elevated by 300 after 21 days of McDonalds every day so this might be it.

I think I need to clean up my act.
