drug induced hepatitis

I took doxycyline for 8 weeks, 8 advil a day for 4 weeks, then went on celebrex.  I also took levequin for 5 weeks after the doxycyline.  This was for an infection.  Would this be enough drugs to induce drug induced hepatitis?

I don't know that you can induce Hepatitis with drugs, like that. I mean... I've never heard of it..

Perhaps someone else can assist?

I know you can damage your liver --- with too many drugs, however - get HEPC? From Drugs?

Or HEP B? or A?

I don't know the answer to that.

The symptoms of drug-induced hepatitis are similar to viral hepatitis. Drug induced hepatitis tends to be acute. If it is not caught soon enough the damage could be permanent resulting in chronic hepatitis. Just for yawl's info, the word "hepatitis" simply means "inflamation (inflammation) of the liver" There are quite a few different types of hepatitis including "drug induced". See your doctor if you feel your meds are causing you problems.

Hey Earth -- thank  you --- Yeah - I know... I've got tunnel vision when it comes to Hepatitis C... Every hepatitis is HepC to me... LOL!
