Thank You all for the words of wisdom. I have tried and will continue to gather information for g/f and myself. Four ten hour days it is my responsibility to care for her parents. I think in preparing meals in advance for example will help. The possible side affects, can they be present the entire 24 weeks or a few days after injection? Oh, will side affects deminish the longer I'm on it? I thank you all again.

As Trish states these drugs have many many different side effects and can be debilitating. Treatment can be a very long time and the coping side of it is challenging to say the least. Your on very potent drugs that can alter your mindset aside from all the physical issues that are happening to your physical being.
I wish you good luck and just be aware you must devote time, and lots to patience to treatment. It is very debilitating. Everyone is different some take tx better than others. Any outside influences can be hazardous to your health.
Hoping you have an easy-go but be prepared for all it may bring.
Good luck-
I agree with will, taking care of 2 people their age and shape could become a problem, are we talking many hours a day or for short times? A couple of hours every once in a while might not be too bad but a regular set of long hours, well that could be a problem.
Its time your G/F understands this treatment can be tough but its something YOU really need to do at this time.......... Best to you.

Hi there...Are you ready?? I guess that is a question only you can answer :)
However because of the fact you have st.3 fibrosis .it is a good idea to be ready to treat ,as the next stage is Cirrhosis and other complications can come with that as well as being often harder to treat.
You doc may be right...about it not being a walk in the park ,however many treat having only fairly mild side effects.. No way to know till you jump in.
However. looking after two 90 year old ..deaf and blind and with dementia, and the G/F says you can and must YIKES!
I would be changing that arrangement up a tad personally ..this could be way way too much to take on while treating. I don"t have any suggestions on that one other than I believe someone else needs to take all that on .
Good luck ..
