end stage liver

not a question! I just got word my mother, a hep c patient, ex i.v. drug user, has a couple days. Encourage your loved ones to try the treatments, even if they don't work.  My moms 52, I'm an only child losing my mother. Prevent it if you can. Love and cherish them if they have it. Terminal takes years, but creeps up when you ignore it with your daily activities. Bless all.

Terminal takes years but creeps up on you when you ignore it.

Oh Tina, what pain your Mum must have gone through 'ignoring it'.   To actually survive you have to ignore it to some extent or the mental anguish would be too much.  That, combined with so many doctors having little knowledge of the meds or how to treat an Hep C patient not treating makes facing it every day a hard call.    And what a lovely Mum you must have to raise such a caring daughter.    I hope you have the strength to encompass the wonderful things that she's so obviously given you and know there are others in your future who will love you and be grateful to her for you being in this world.

Many people are against the meds, and let's face it, the meds just don't always work, so don't dwell on the 'maybe's'.   I hope and your Mum get you get all the support you need at the moment.

Thx Tina for posting this, when I failed first treatment that was my most horrible thoughts if I should die soon what about my children.

I have three girls 13, 16 and 24 and when I had failed my ex the mother of my children had started to treat, she is now cured thank God.

I´m 12 weeks post second treatment and everything is looking good so far.

My heart goes out to you and thx once again for thinking of others .

You will be in my prayers.
