Congratulations on being done with tx.  Best wishes for UND and then SVR.  My husband has had a lot of those skin issues (dry, cracked, bruised, spots, prickly/tingly, etc.) with all three therapies, especially therapy #2 which was daily injections of infergen and 1400 mg. ribavirin.  The skin issues resolved within a month or two of ending therapy.  I guess my suggestion would be to use lots of cream/lotion, drink lots of water, and stay out of the sun for at least a few weeks after therapy.

!Woohoo! Can't wait to get there myself. My eyes just started itching also, also bad cracked fingertips. Yes, clothes are bothersome so I hardly wear jeans. Hoping my hair doesn't fall out tho! I've been using nioxin, so hope that helps. I recommend it...theres a super minty shampoo (I think#5 formula) super tingly, I'll get that next time. Feel good guys!

no itching here, rash on my chest but not itchy. The skin on my body is a mess. I cant possible drink anymore water to help hydrate and use alveeno lotion by the gallon it helps but I have found the same with the skin around my eyes. All kind of wrinkled and dry looking but it isnt dry. OMG, 4 weeks to go AND the hair is the thing that freeks me out. I feel the hair hitting my neck and just always think I have spiders on me or something, gross...... but soon to be over. I was wondering if anyone has any insite as to how long the hair shedding lasts after you stop treatment. It also seems that the closer to the end I get the more stress out I am. Its like I'm so nervous about my vl labs that I just about have heart failure ever month. I have been und since week 4 trying to keep the trend going. Wednesday is week 20 blood!!!

I'll have to read the box again (which is in the other end of the house.). I know it is limited to where you can use it. I'll let you know..  All I was thinking about is my ears.. didn't think about my head..

Oh no it will probably grow in your ears!  ;)

The itching clothes syndrome will go away. Believe me I used to put bandaids every where something bothered me. I should have bought stock.

I am also 2 weeks away and I have the same issues with my skin and hair.. The skin around my eyes is dry and flaky.. and tI have he itchy splotchy alligator skin.  One thing I have not seen anyone else post is that I also have itchy ears, right inside the ear canal.. Both start itching at the same time and it drives me crazy.  I did finally get a prescription cream yesterday, but it said that one of the side effects is 'extreme and unwanted hair growth'.. So, now I'm afraid to use it.. I do not want extreme and unwanted hair growing in my ears!!!
Anyway.. Here's to us.. 2 weeks and counting!!  We did it!!

PJ breeze through these last two weeks.  I was a giant emaciated vampire alligator by the end of treatment. Then...food tasted great again, my hair grew back. The grey skin and patches disappeared and all of a sudden my clothes were too tight....

You will be just fine. :)
